Second Official Meeting with the Minister of Communications and Technology

A delegation from the Board of Directors of the Syrian Initiative for Expertise and Development held a second official meeting with the Minister of Communications and Technology, Mr. Abdulsalam Haykal. The meeting aimed to follow up on the outcomes of the previous April session and discuss how to translate proposed ideas into concrete programs to be launched soon.

This meeting builds on ongoing collaboration with the Minister’s Advisor for Robotics and Smart Systems, Mr. Abdullah Olabi, and his team, who continue to play a key role in shaping several of these upcoming initiatives.

The discussion focused on priority programs related to digital and smart transformation, capacity-building, and the strategic engagement of Syrian expertise at home and abroad, all in support of enhancing national preparedness for the next phase.

This meeting marks another practical step in the growing development partnerships the Initiative is fostering—moving from institutional dialogue to measurable impact.
