Official Meeting with the Syrian Ministry of Administrative Development

As part of our ongoing effort to strengthen national partnerships, the Syrian Initiative for Expertise and Development held an official visit to the Ministry of Administrative Development. A delegation from the Initiative met with H.E. Minister Mohammad Skaaf, along with several of his advisors and senior staff, to explore ways of collaboration and joint efforts in reforming and improving public administration in Syria.

The meeting included an in-depth discussion on the potential role of Syrian professionals around the world in supporting the Ministry’s mission. Various areas of cooperation were explored, including technical, digital, administrative, regulatory, and governance-related fields that contribute to institutional development.

The two sides also discussed a proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding that would formalize the collaboration and potentially recognize the Initiative as an official channel for engaging Syrian expertise abroad—within a shared vision that supports national reform and strengthens institutional performance.
